In my role as a training director for PricewaterhouseCoopers, I have been associated with Richard Friend for more than 5 years. During this period, Richard and his associates have assisted us in the development and delivery of several incredibly successful training programs. Richard's largest contribution has been in the area of diversity. In 1997, PwC launched a new and innovative learning initiative focused on experienced new hires. This unique group of experienced professionals required a "jump start" to our organization -- including an appreciation for the significant value placed on diversity within our Firm. In a consultative and collaborative manner, Richard designed a knock-out session which continuously receives the highest of evaluations. Subsequently, Richard and his team have contributed to the development and delivery several other important programs -- including those focused on executive presentation and facilitation skills. His exceptional expertise is only surpassed by his command of the classroom, as well as his ability to connect with his audience.
